Who looks after your information
The Impossible Club Ltd is responsible for the information you share through this website. Contact melissa@theimpossibleclub.com with privacy questions or requests.
CLEO early-bird emails
If you sign up, we store your email address, the consent wording you agreed to and when you agreed. We use your consent to send the CLEO pre-order link and launch updates. Signing up is optional and does not subscribe you to unrelated marketing.
The early-bird list keeps your details for up to 180 days from sign-up. Expired entries are excluded from the list and removed when the list is next accessed. You can withdraw consent at any time using your unsubscribe link or by emailing us. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that happened before you withdrew.
Enquiries
When you email us, we use your contact details and message to respond. This is based on our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries, or taking steps at your request before a contract. We keep enquiry correspondence while it is needed to handle your enquiry, any resulting work and related records.
Service providers and security
Our website and sign-up database run on OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare. Business email is handled through Google Workspace. These providers process information to deliver and protect their services. We do not sell your contact details.
Sign-up records are accessed through a protected management endpoint. To limit automated abuse, the sign-up form uses a temporary security identifier derived from your network address and the current hour. We do not store your raw network address in the sign-up database. These identifiers expire after two hours. Hosting providers may also process technical request information for security and operation.
International processing
Our service providers operate internationally, so your information may be processed outside the UK, including in the United States. Their data-processing terms provide transfer safeguards, including standard contractual clauses with the UK addendum where applicable. Contact us for information about the safeguards that apply to your data.
Optional analytics: Microsoft Clarity
If you accept analytics, we use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use this website and improve its content, navigation and enquiry journeys. Clarity records page interactions, including clicks, scrolling and navigation, to produce heatmaps and session replays. It also processes technical information such as browser, device, page URL and network address. We rely on your consent for this optional measurement.
Clarity is not loaded before you accept analytics. Rejecting analytics does not limit access to the website or the CLEO sign-up form. We mask the sign-up form and do not send your email address as an analytics identifier. Sign-up-management pages and URLs containing query parameters are excluded from recording. Microsoft processes the collected data as described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement, including its use to provide and improve Microsoft services.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawing stops recording, clears this site's Clarity cookies and refreshes the page. It does not undo processing that has already taken place. Clarity normally retains session playback for 30 days; heatmaps and labelled or favourited recordings can be retained for nine months.
Optional advertising: Meta Pixel
Only if you separately accept advertising, Meta Pixel shares page visits, page URLs, campaign identifiers, browser and device information and network address with Meta to measure and improve our advertising. Meta may associate this information with your Meta account and use it under its Privacy Policy. This can involve processing outside the UK. We rely on your consent.
Previous analytics acceptance does not enable advertising. The pixel is excluded from private sign-up-management pages and URLs with unrecognised query parameters. Standard campaign links are supported. We do not send sign-up form entries or enable automatic form-event tracking. You can withdraw advertising consent through Cookie settings; this revokes pixel consent, clears this site's _fbp and _fbc cookies and refreshes the page. Withdrawal does not undo earlier processing.
Cookies and local storage
We remember your separate analytics and advertising choices in your browser for up to 180 days. Meta may set _fbp and _fbc cookies for browser and ad-click identification after advertising opt-in. When analytics is accepted, Clarity can use first-party cookies such as _clck, which remembers its visitor identifier and preferences, and _clsk, which connects page views into a session. We send Microsoft an analytics consent signal and deny advertising storage consent. See Microsoft's cookie information for its cookie purposes.
Your choice to pause animation is stored in your browser for the current session. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives the technical information needed to serve them. Third-party sites you choose to visit have their own privacy notices.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, restrict its use or receive a portable copy where the right applies. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests, including use of your details for direct marketing. Email us to make a request.
We do not use sign-up information for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. You can raise a concern with us or complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
